SL/R230: Obsidian Black with Stone/Natural Maple Burl? Opinions on combination.

Obsidian Black with Stone/Natural Maple Burl? Opinions on combination.
Looking at an '03 in this combination and although it's very cool, it almost comes across to me as more of a chick car combo. Rarely see any in this combination as most black cars have grey, charcoal or black interiors. Wife loves it which somewhat confirms my take on it.
This would be a weekend car and I plan on adding front carbon lip, rear spoiler, window tint and some nice 19" or 20" five spoke rims which leans more toward the performance look instead of luxury look. Also not crazy about the brownish trim with the black, but the light maple really makes a statement.
Anyone have this combo or have seen it that can share their opinion?
