Hi
My Brothers SL350 has a bit of a problem, and we don't know what to do to rectify it.
Essentially, he was parking the car up (after having driven with the roof down) and was closing the roof, until it got 3/4 closed when it stopped and he got the Electrical Consumers Offline message.
He's tried running the car for a while to see if he can charge the aux battery, but the roof still wont close, and the message is still there.
Obviously he can't get into the trunk as the roof is still open...and obviously with the current UK weather (ie rain!) the windows are all cracked open an inch or so!
any ideas?? He's trying the quick fixes if possible, but hasn't got time to take it to the Dealers as he's very busy with work...jus wondering if theres a manual way to close it so we can get into the trunk to diagnose the battery.
Thanks

Mine did that. The trunk lid was pointed straight up. It was the hydraulic pump at $1,700.00 usd. The hydraulic pressure should bleed down after ten minutes so you can push the trunk lid down but not locked.
