Trunk Lid Closing Air Pressure

Just started. Close the trunk and you cannot hear the suction pull it closed. If I push the lid down it will close and lock. But no pressure close.

Also do not have any error messages. Is this the air pump? If it is, shouldn't I get a error message?

Thanks

Have a look at the very top (sticky) message in this R230 forum.

I've had this happen to me a few times. Find the fuse box behind the passenger seat in the interior. Pull all yellow "20" fuses and replace. If there is no leak in your air hoses, the trunk lid should now close properly. Good luck!!

The fuse reset would only work for a day. Have after market warranty. Cost me $100.00 deductible to replace the latch assembly.
