Just seen brand new SL500 which I think is the worst possible colour combination. Travertine beige and berry red leather. Unfortunately I didnt have my camera but salesmen wasnt impressed when I suggested it might be a cancelled order. It looked horrible.

There's one exactly like that in Kuwait..Desert Silver/Light Biege exterior Red interior..it's not bad now that it sorta grew on me..I also saw the same combination on a 2003 Carrera 4S..All i could say is WOW! Now that color looks great on that car.

Funny how it looks good on some cars and bad on others.

I agree that sounds awful - travertine beige is pretty dire itself and with berry red, it would be worse. I saw a tellur silver car - the silver with a blue tint to it - with berry red and that looked bad too.

As big a fan as I am of Berry Red, the only colours I think it works with are black and brilliant silver. Anything else, and you're dancing on danerous ground.

I think berry red works well with topaz blue. However the Topaz colour looks much duller than these pictures suggest.

It would not be my first choice either - it looks like the car is always dirty.
