ANOTHER ABC Question

Hey Guys, I have tried to locate some discussion on this question as it is probably located SOMEWHERE in this section..

Nevertheless, I think I may be replacing the rear struts on my 2003 SL500 (only 6540 mi).. The struts are slightly "seeping' fluid but not severe enough to warrant changing them at this time...(I intend to replace them with Arnott struts.)

My question is: should I consider SL 55 struts and eventually replacing the front struts - when due with SL 55 struts ? Can this be done to produce a SL55 ABC suspension advantage ? or are there other components in the SL55 system to be considered ?

Eventually I would like to have SL55 suspension and brakes

I am an old time MB driver but very limited in experience with the ABC system.....Any enlightenment greatly appreciated ..

Thanks
Ron Martin
