Next to the panorama roof it is the most used and practical option I have on the SL.
You simply forget that you needs keys for a car (a fact I am reminded of every time I am switching cars).

Get it, it's a no brainer...

SL500
I personally wouldn't bother, but I'd look at it another way and prioritise the options I would put on an SL going by my experience and views. Keep going down the list until you run out of cash! If you have missed something off thats higher on the list than KeylessGo, I'd consider going for it instead. I assume you're after an SL500?

1. COMAND (assume/unless std)
2. 6 CD Changer (mandatory due to 1)
3. Parctronic (why do without it?)
4. 18" Wheels (either style looks good, pref AMG). Don't leave it on 17"s.
5. Pano Roof
6. Wood Wheel (if you chose light interior with burr/chestnut wood. Not needed in a black interior, or with the black wood. Alu trim not recommended unless you go for the berry red, when you can achieve a groovy SLR look (this is not for everyone though)!)
7. BOSE
8. Exclusive Leather (big bucks, but looks good. Better value than the "tinsel" below IMO).
9. KeylessGo
10. Dimming Mirrors (unless std)
11. Fan Seats
12. Distronic
13. Dynamic Seats
14. Bi-Xenon (unless std)
15. Folding Mirrors (unless std)
16. Linguatronic
17. Garage Door opener. Come on now.

European wise, the phone option is around 4.1 if you like Nokia 6310is. US maybe different story. UHI helps now of course.

I haven't mentioned the AMG kit. Pricey, put around 8.1, but you really should be buying an SL55 if this is important. Also roof rack prep is cheap and may come in handy.

If price is important, you can easily stop at (and including) number 4, and still get 99.9% of the SL experience.

Well, the keyless go is a great option. It fits right into your wallet, and it works great! So in my opinion I give it a
