Personal Collection?
Hi Guys,
Another go at this question. :o)
I've the option to pick up my SL in Bremen, Germany and drive back to Scotland probably June 2004, courtesy of MB.
Anyone used Personal Collection and is it worthwhile? Feel a bit uneasy with the thought of driving over there as there are a few maniacs on the road but might be worth it!
June 2004 is just too long away!

I've done it several times. Great trip. MB take care of you in Germany, the tour is very good, the drive back is on fast roads through nice scenery.
The only thing is you get more miles on the car quickly!

I picked up an S500 in Sindelfingen while I was living in the USA, it was great to be able to drive on roads that allowed you to fully utilise the cars power without going to prison, as I was allready planning to be in the EU it actually save me money in that there was no need to rent a car. You won't regret it.

Sounds like it would be worth it, despite clocking up the miles.
Guess there would be a better chance of driving off with the roof down than chancing the weather in Scotland!
