Front Upper Control Arm Bushing Queston
It's time to change out my lower control arm bushings on my 2005 SL55. Looking at diagrams of the front suspension I find there is the lower control arm, compression strut, and a upper control arm.
I've located all the lower arm bushings but find no reference to replacement bushings for the upper arm anywhere (epcnet.com). The upper arm appears only available as a complete unit at around $250/each side.
Question - is it common to replace the upper arm when replacing the lower bushings as well or, are the bushings in the upper arm not as susceptible to wear?
