I'm not sure what you mean by mixing tuners, but everything is Brabus. My company is the advertising agency for a bunch of auto companies, including Davin Wheels - the guys who invented spinning and hold the U.S. Patent. Don't be fooled by Sprewell or those cheap knockoffs that were all over SEMA this year. These wheels are 3 piece and hand-made...and are $12,000 a set and limited to only 500 sets a year. Most are pre-sold to celebrities like Jordon, Britney, Justin, Mike Piazza, Shaq, Iverson, 50 cent, etc. and other athletes in the MLB, NFL and the NFL. I guess they are status thing and they have money to burn. I will say...when you inspect the quality of one of these wheels up close...you see why the saying goes, "you get what you pay for..." The quality control is first rate and the chroming is better than anything I've ever seen.
I have to admit...I'm a huge fan of the Brabus Wheels and Davin has just announced Speed, which is their high performance 5 or 7 spoke non-spinning racing wheel for Lamborghinis, Porsches, Ferrari's, etc., so I was originally going five spoke all the way. However, when my client put these prototypes on the car...they just looked amazing. I'm not into bling... or any of what others may want from this type of purchase. They simply look great in person and completely baffle valets. They are much more refined then you might think. Those who have seen them in person are simply blown away. Of course this includes my very conservative wife...who wouldn't even know half of Davin's customers...let alone want anything bling. Brabus 5 spoke would have certainly been the easy way to go….but they are a dime a dozen in my area.
The rest of the mods (Quad exhaust and lowering the car via Brabus) will be completed just after Thanksgiving. I will post more pics soon. The next phase will begin by adding a custom sub in the car and permanently mounting the IPOD. It is currently hardwired to the cup holder, which sounds great through the AUX in.
I'm glad everyone liked the pictures...
