Did a search, didn't find my answer. '03 Sl55 does not auto lock when leaving vehicle (with option enabled of course.) Locks fine with keyfob, but not automatically.

Have also noticed the "thumb depress" button on door handles do not lock or unlock. The passenger door worked for some time, but nothing now.

Key card still detects and doors will unlock when near, but no way to lock vehicle from outside.

Suggestions?

Not sure it is the "buttons." Almost acts more like the key card is somewhere in the car...

If it is the handles, how big of an ordeal?

Very simple about 15 mins per side one screw behind rubber seal. You don't have to take door panels off. Shop around for the handles and they come pained. good luck
