SL/R230: It can be done!

It can be done!
I just retrofitted a used 2011 instrument cluster into my 04 sl600. It was quite easy with the use of sds. Everything works even the mileage after about 10 minutes of coding.
I also think I have a way to retrofit the ntg2.5 into the same vehicle without changing the harness and other components. I already have the unit powered up and connecting to the can bus. I will know for sure as soon as I get my anti theft code so I can code it in.
Just wanted to let you guys know this stuff is possible! I'll keep you updated as I progress on my projects

The sl 63 cluster will pop right in place speedo will be good. You will need a DAS
Machine simply take over the existing cluster settings then marry it to the drive authorization system. It will work perfectly with correct mileage.
