SL350 with ABC
ABC SUSPENSION HEIGHT DIFFERENCES PROBLEMS

Hi all, I’m new to this forum, I have joined as I have just bought a fantastic 2009 SL350 that’s fitted with ABC (active body control ) suspension.

I have a question regarding the height of each suspension leg/strut.

I have noticed that the “gap” between the top of the tyres and the wheel arches are not all the same ie; The gaps are, NSF is 50mm & OSF is 34mm, the NSR is 40mm & OSR is 43mm.

Is this normal or should they all be the same “gap”

I have checked the oil leave and that’s fine, I tried raising the suspension up and down a few times but this made no difference to the un-even suspension

Thanks in advance for any info
