SL/R230: Code 804/805 What model do they attach to

One further question can a 2004 SL have an 805 system in it. Excuse my terminology and I hope you understand what I'm saying. The diagnostic of my car says that it has a 805 as opposed to an 804 readout. Don't know if I am saying this correctly but do you get my drift?
