quick test log from a 2007 SL55...
I'm thinking about buying this 2007 SL55, ran a quick test on with my STAR. Wasn't expecting 8 pages worth of faults lol... I see that a lot of them can be associated with a dead battery. a few others are a little concerning... like the SBC fault... no faults in the ABC though... unless - j - means something other than OK?
Also, the car has 91,xxx miles on it. the report says total distance driven of 147095 miles... I was a bit concerned about that, but then realised that STAR probably displays KM, since 147095km = 91,934mi
Does anyone else have a copy of their quick test report? Do the others also display KM but say miles? Or are the miles on the car really 147k?

It is apparent to me that "j" is for no faults current or stored,"f" is for fault(s) stored, "F" is for current fault(s), and "i" is for event(s) stored. So the air conditioning and Tele Aid currently have faults; the others do not.
With my 6-year-old setup you configure the system of measurement (units) you wish to use. I expect that would determine whether Star reports the odometer reading in kilometers or miles. You may be able to verify this by running the simulation version of DAS/Xentry on your PC.
