I understand the Cord Issue but would like it on myself or at least try it out the correct way. I bought a New Cap from Mercedes with Cord as when I bought car cord was broke.

How do you remove the Filler Cap Clip the holds the strap to the Fuel Door? I tried prying it but I'm afraid of breaking the Cap Holder on door. The Center Pin is Flush on Rivet so needle nose pliers wont work to pull pin.
