Eurocharged ECU/TCU Tune
Holy hell, I just got the ECU/TCU modules back from EC and damn!
Nice tune lol The car is crazy and it appears the traction control is going to be doing a little more work now!!!!

LSD is worth it on these cars esp on turns but I wouldn't get one just yet until you add a bit more power, then the traction control starts going crazy and will go from 1-3 gear in order to keep power on the ground.

Limited Slip Differential. I have a Quaife LSD in my SL65 after I did intakes and exhaust on top of my ECU/TCU tune since there was too much power going to the back wheels, causing massive wheel spin

Oh I gotcha. I usually don't do much past the tune itself. I did the EC tune on my E55 and that made a pretty nice improvement as well. I might do a muffler delete to get that kick *** sound those V12s put out though.

If your still in Dallas maybe its better to go there yourself and visit the EC shop in Houston, that way instead of a box tune you can get a dyno tune. If you go there and have them do it then only 1-1 1/2 hrs once they start if u go the dyno tune route. If you just want a box tune then prob 20 mins. If you mail your unit, it will be one day to mail it, one day for them to tune it and one day to mail it back

Well I did the remote tune on my 2006 E55, but I had to unplug the ECU and TCU out of the 2008 SL600 and send it to them. I overnighted the box and they sent it back the next day. If you are able to do the remote tune, they just set an appointment with you and flash it via USB cable adapter, which is either free or costs money depending on their promotion. The first cable they sent was defective and they sent me a second one for free.
If you live near their shop and are doing the pulley too, just take it in and have them do it. I was going to do the pulley on my E55, but didn't want to do JUST the pulley, I was going to do the heat exchanger and pump upgrades as well but never got around to it. The E55 flash alone was noticeable, I just had a harder time keeping the tires from spinning always making the traction control go off.

Before I do any performance upgrades I'm going to add another intercooler.

You should go with an upgraded heat exchanger or intercooler pump if you want to start with cooling. We offer a cable and software to remotely tune your ECU but the TCU would have to be sent to us. If you want do both tunes, we recommend sending in both units together since the car will be down anyways with no TCU. We get them turned around within 24 hours of receiving them.

My bad, hear exchanger is what I meant, I'm going to add another in addition to the stock unit.

Not sure if there is a program for the 500. But go check out their website under MB products.
