A simple rebuttal to C&D review
Winston Goodfellow, Sports Car International, May 2002,
Opening paragraph:
"In the last issue, I declared Lamborghini's Murcielago the best mid-engine car I had driven. Mercedes new SL sets another, even higher standard: It is the finest vehicle of any type I have driven."
Closing paragraph:
"I went into the hotel room and immediately called two wealthy car aficionado friends. "Don't even hesitate," was my advice. "Go order one of these cars immediately." That I had never done that after any test was one thing that reaffirmed the car's best-ever status."
I wonder what he will think of the SL55?
