SL/R230: buying 04-06 with 100k miles?

buying 04-06 with 100k miles?
Hey Guys,
Just wondering I am planning on buying an sl500 as a weekend driver, but am looking at ones with 100-110k on them.. I will obviously check out everything before buying but I wanted to know if you guys ran into a ton of problems after the 100k mark and it isn't even worth it? I know the big items to check are suspension, top, batteries, etc which I will. Also make sure it is running smoothly and all the power items work but just seeing if anyone had positive experiences buying with 100k+ if the car is clean and you don't run into a bunch of issues like most people say with Mercedes cars over 100k…

Do remember to save up some spare cash for future repair bills, just in case.
I also have an 2003 sl, but is completely aware that the running costs are much more than a "normal" car, but is it worth it?
Hell yeah.
It's just a summer's car so atleast I "save" some money.
If it's just a weekend car, i reckon it's the same for you.
Just remember to get an c-tek to charge the rear battery, to avoid it getting flat after a short while.
