Kleemann Wheels HELP

I ordered a set of Kleemann TS 6 Wheels from Bahrain. Although the guy gave me a great price but he did not send me the right bolts. I need to know what bolts I should use for these wheels. The front are 9.5 X 20 and the rears are 10.5 X 20. The wheels came with spacers 5 mm and 10 mm. Now I am in a fix as to which size bolt I need and also which spacers to put on the front and which one for the rears. I tried to get the bolts from the Mercedes dealer ship but they did not have the ones long enough. Also I went to the porsche guys who did have the correct size but the shape was different. They had rounded washers as opposed to tapered ones. Any help will be appreciated.

The bolts are included in the box with the spacers.

Use the 5 mm spacer in the front and the 10 mm in the rear, remember the bolts are different so use the right length with the respective spacer.

If the dealer short cutted you on parts, call them up and get the right parts, fooling arround with amateurs will only give you problem and even damage the master piece of a wheel.

If you choose not to follow my advice, then are the bolts M 14 x 1,5 ( I don't know the length ) but they have to stick 16 mm thru wheel and spacer and the head is 60 degree, any pro will know what this means.

Thanks for your replies. Lucas, I did receive the bolts with the spacers, but one set was a thinner bolt then the other, so the tread does not match.I tried getting in touch with the guy who sold me these but they are not very helpful. I dont want to waste my time on them. Can you point me to the place where I could get these bolts, and I would appreciate if you could give me the exact specifications, I mean the length and the thickness. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Spacers and bolts are custom made to the TS-6 wheel, get them from your dealer in Bahrain.

My set of TS-6 wheels also arrived with a pair of 5mm for the fronts and 10mm for the rears (and two different bolt lengths to fit the different spacers), but they didn't actually fit as shipped, because the 5mm spacer didn't even clear the stock front caliper on my CLK500. I had to use the 10mm spacer in the front (with a ~1-2mm clearance of the caliper) and request a second set of spacers for the rear. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what your problem is, but I'm guessing that you're having the same problem as I did???

Your problem is more related to dealers stock up the wheels, but it's really the spacer/bolt set which makes it car specific, so there
could be a chance that actually the wrong set was send with your wheels.

Najeeb

Contact Waseem and he will help you.

Lucas,

Its waseem that I have been trying to contact, but either he is not there or I dont know why he is not replying to either my phone calls or emails. As you mentioned in your previous post, I confirmed the bolts. The 5 Mm spacers did come with M 14 bolts but the 10 mm were with 12 size bolts, so I guess he sent me the wrong bolts with the 10 mm spacers. I checked the front wheels with the 5 mm spacers and as you said, I got exactly 16mm through, so I guess the fronts are Ok, it is the rear, whose length is actually 5 mm more then the fronts to cover up for the extra 5 mm for spacers, but unfortunately they are M12. Can someone pls get in touch with waseem and ask him to send me the correct bolts.
Thanks everyone for trying to help

Or you could get some bolts which are same length as the 12 mm's but in 14 x 1,5 with the same head, how difficult can it be.

Lucas, I will ask you a question which I had asked you before the board went down. How can I become a KLEEMANN dealer in Saudi Arabia?

There are two type of wheel bolts: "button head" and "tapered head". Button heads are round at the shoulder where the bolt contacts the rim, tapered heads are (you guessed it) tapered. KLEEMANN wheels use the tapered head bolts. These are the only two types of wheel bolts I am aware of, as for the size its easy:

14mm diameter X 1.5 thread pitch X The length you need.

The length is measured from the base of the taper or button to the end of the threaded shaft. The entire length of the bolt from top of head to end of thread is NOT the length. In the US these bolts are available from virtually any wheel dealer (Tire Rack, Discount Tire, ETC) or bolt supply house. Typical price for one of these bolts in the US is approximately $3.
