Mercedes & SL550 Demographic
I would like to know what the demographic is for the SL550? I can make some assumptions but would rather not. Who do you think would buy this one? Is it mainly older gentlemen or potentially another demographic?

I think two primary factors for this demographic would be exquisite taste and the werewithal to pay for it.
I have two cars - a BMW 5 series and a Mercedes SL. I consider one of them to be a tool and the other to be a work of art...I guess many other SL owners might see it that way too.

Go to your dealer and ask to look at the second page of the DOG (Dealer Ordering Guide). There MB lists the targeted demographic. For the SL, I believe it's "successful" "older" folks with median annual incomes of $550K.
