Chestnut & Charcoal??
I am currently looking to buy a wood & leather shift, but nobody seems to have it......MB says they don't have it either.......is this color combo rare??

I am afraid the mavens at MBUSA do not allow unlimited choice of color combos. I could not order Teal Blue Leather with Burl Walnut trim. According to my catalogue, and the on line build your own site, Chestnut does not seem to be "permitted" (ie. by MBUSA) with Charcoal. So much for customer choice.

yes, you can get chestnut and charcoal. our '04 is chestnut and charcoal, but it is rare for the sl because it cant be entered into the order on the computer. it has to be called in. but there's no special order charge.
EDIT: call AutoStiegler in Encino, and ask for Sheri Swann. she's in charge of their euro delivery and got us the charcoal and chestnut combo. if she cant get the part for you, she probably knows how to or who to go to. their phone number is
