About that "rodeo"
FNG here. I need assistance with something that is basic to everyone else here.
What is the ABC rodeo that is mentioned so often on this forum? Can you tell me how to perform a rodeo?
Reason for asking: I'm buying an '07 SLR550 later this week. It shows only 34,000 miles on the odo and I find sufficient evidence to verify the truthfulness of that mileage. I will take the car to an MB shop for a full inspection.
But before I buy the car, I will perform as careful a visual inspection as I can. I would like to test or examine the ABC system in action, and it sounds like the rodeo is such a test.
So ... how do I rodeo? What are the steps? What should I look forward? What constitutes a successful rodeo and what is a failed rodeo?

You can't do a rodeo yourself. Unless you have a Star Diagnostics System (SDS). This is a stress test of the ABC suspension.
Check YouTube for 'ABC Rodeo' and see what pops up. It's really pretty funny to watch!
