I purchased a used 2007 SL550 that had the keyless go entry system and it is missing the small black button. Does anyone know if you can replace the button without replacing the whole handle? Or maybe you know who makes these handles for Mercedes. Seem a waste to buy the whole handle.

I just sent an email to Mercedes to see if they can help me locate the rubber switch. I will let everyone know what I find out.

I was not able to find a direct replacement of my keyless go door handle button, so i decided to make one. I cut a small piece of rubber that our fit in the orginal opening and then used black Marine silicon sealant. while this does not look perfect it does seal the opening and the locking button does work very well. if you are having trouble with your button you may wan to give this a try.

For anyone out there that is still looking into this: A company called IE Works sells just the replacement covers.
