SL/R230: Reboot of Command System

2009 SL550, 2012 Infiniti QX56, 2014 Lexus LS460
I have no idea but wondered what type of issue you were having. My '09 command system started turning off and on arbitrarily. Took it to MB dealer and they are going to try updating it and if that doesn't work then replace the entire thing. Glad it is under $$$$warranty$$$

My command system turns on for about 45 sec , then turns off for 10 sec (repeating) over and over again.
I called mercedes and they suggested I bring it in for a diagnosis, per hour is $125.00. He mentioned a programming update may be needed. I bought he truck used and no warranty, I was wondering if there was a re-boot sequence for the command. Or simply would disconnecting the battery reset it.
