cracked front bumper

cracked the front bumper going into the side of a road.

Shoulda I go to MB dealer for a full front Oem replacment

or

go on my own and buy a amg/stock/brabus front and get it painted and installed?

which route would be cheaper?

watch ebay for replacements or call tuners that would have old skirts from exchanges.

Front Bumper

I believe you have already replaced the bumper. Should you decide to make your SL more exotic, probably you can check out

Same problem here on an SL55. Does anyone know if the bumper can be ordered factory painted?

I don't trust the dealerships paint jobs, especially with the new nano particle paint.

Thanks.

No, all MB bodykits come unpainted. Well, the proper way to match the color exactly to your car is to give your car's VIN number to the dealership. They can trace the exact formula of paint used on your car when they paint it at the factory.
