Rear window rust / top seals
Is the seal that goes along the rear window suppose to be this far away from the glass? You can see rust starting between the seal and the glass in the area that appears to just be exposed raw metal. I'm considering taking the seal off and sanding down the area and hitting it with rustoleum or something to seal it from continuing to rust then running some silicon under the seal and reattaching it.
Also in another photo I had a question about the seals that run along the triangles next to the rear windows (which I know need hit with paint or replaced). Are the seals that run along them only suppose to go a couple inches down like in the photo? It is the same on mine on both sides so I didn't know if it was designed this way or if I'm missing a seal on each side.

Don't you have a leakage problem? I did, took of the seal, the metal was only slightly rusty. Reattached the seal with black shipbuilding sealant. Finished it of afterwards with a thin bead of the same, along the glass. Supposedly sea water resistant...
