I recently bought my SL550. It has keyless go. It also has two keys. Both keys do the locking, unlocking, roof up, roof down. However, only one key is recognized as the keyless go key. Is this the way the car originally shipped? Could it just be that something got out of sync? If I get in the car with the key that doesn't work and press the keyless go, I get a message that indicates that it doesn't recognize the key.

I'm guess that its a 1000.00 to get a 2nd keyless go key from the dealer. Maybe a bit less if the key just needs to be reprogrammed.

Hi Bruce.

Keyless go keys need to be programmed and syncronised for your EIS and 2ndly learned in to the Keyless go control unit.
The 2nd part is frequently forgotten and with your MY a workshop activity
