Tube from R230 PSE Pump


Hi Guys, I have taken out my PSE pump for repair. When I took out the pump I seem to have dislodged a "filter" that is located near the pump. I have attached a photo of it below. I have the following questions if you would be so kind:

1. Have I plugged this in the right way round?
2. What does this part do?
3. Should it be connected to a tube at both ends? I cannot find any loose tubes.

I believe Part #120 in this diagram is your filter.

Thank you for your reply. It seems that the part is fitted the correct way round and that it is merely an air filter. I don't think it needs to be connected to anything so presumably all is well.
