2009 SL63 Whining Noise with Roof Closed
Hi Folks,
Just bought a used 2009 SL63 from original owner with 50k miles and love it! The only thing that seems odd is that there is a whining noise that is very noticeable in the cockpit when the roof is closed. Can't hear much or any of it with open air driving.
A good MB service shop said it's a noisy water pump and tandem pump (power steering and stability system).
To me it sounds like a pair of wet clutches that might be on their last legs.
Any thoughts on what starts to make noise that reverberates in cockpit when the rood is closed?
