2003 SL 500 Purchase
Seriously considering pulling the trigger on a model year 2003 with only 18750 miles on it. Buying from my MB Dealer who originally sold the car in late 2002. One owner. Clean CarFax. No ABC issues ever. I have the complete VMI and other than the typical 'campaign' bulletins, it has had only the required regular maintenance. Body is in excellent condition as is the interior. Black over Oyster. Options include Parktronic, Pano Roof with Sunshade, Chestnut Wood Trim, SL2 Sport Pkg.
My best negotiation skills have netted a price of $25,000 which is a bit high for this car. However it's excellent condition and low miles warrant some premium. Not many out there with only one owner and very low miles.

Get the dealer to rodeo/flush/new filter on ABC. 90 days they stand behind everything? Be sure the LED display in the instrument cluster is bright. Those seem to get dim over time, at least earlier models. Heck, dealer replaced the cluster in my 2011 because the LED was beginning to act funny.
