Aiming for an SL AMG55 or 600
Balance shaft issues for R230
Hi All
Looking to buy SL500/550 or SL600 or AMG SL55 and wanted to check in if these R230's suffered the Balance Shaft issues impacting 350 and 550 engine in other models I read in other threads
Have done a bit of research on the ABC issues and got that covered but was told by an Indy dealer about balance shaft issues on the 04 update with the 7 speed and 550 or 350 motor of the R230. Appreciate the feedback.

M113 motors are not affected, M272 & M273 are. Corrections were made at production serial number points on each motor, see this post attachment.
