Benz ABC Suspension Valve Leak HELP!!

car is in the shop for a leak, I saw it is leaking from driver front there is a large gold nut going from valve unit and it is leaking around this nut, indy shop tried to patch it with sealant but it is still leaking. The stealer wants $1500 and says they can only replace the whole unit, there has to be a easier/cheaper way to fix this, could I just replace the washer under the nut, someone please help

I would suggest to look up on the forum, there is something sure about the ABC system and how to fix it.
I haven't had any problems yet, but i'd assume you might need to replace it any way.
Shouldn't be a big deal if you're good on DIY, if not find a good Indy shop

Pretty sure the Gold nut with the wire is the pressure sensor. Not sure it is available separately, but look online or call a dealer to see.

If not, buy a front valve assembly on eBay and have the mechanic swap the sensor. Used should be less than $300 unit. Add $100-$200 for labor.

Check the accumulator while there and replace if over 70K miles. This accumulator is the most common to fail due to pressure spikes from the pump. Your used one could work, but it could be too old and fail too.
