good news today
i called today AMG, for the tuining program simular to the Brabus for the SL55AMG to get over 500 horse power., but the chef engineering told me that i didnt have to tuine it, because the car has 500 horse power.
i have an appointement to go next month to Germany to take off the speed limiter ( 300km/h). it will cost 2150 EURO.

2006 SL55 with 030 Performance Package
It is a conservative rating for insurance or Enviorment somthing like that, LETS HOPE THEY KEEP IT THAT WAY! We do not need AMG getting a hand slap and slowing down our SL55s. I think the SL500 has more than 302HP mine does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. I am going to put it on dyno soon, I will post results

Fouad, would you mind telling us what the engineer had told you the reason they are using such consevative numbers on horsepower?
What were the actual numbers that the car is putting out, both horsepower and torque?
If the horsepower is off, I can only imagine what the actual torque is.
