Check engine light when starting

On my 2004 SL600 every couple months or so I get the check engine light when I start the car and it runs on half the cylinders. Dx at Fletcher Jones shows some 02 sensor readings, but today will do more testing. I figure maybe coil, since about a year ago I had one coil replaced, so maybe they both typically go the same time? Anyway, I thought it was an odd symptom and wonder if others experienced something similar when starting their car. It never does it when driving, but always occurs after driving the car, then the car sitting for a while and I go to start it again. Maybe coil cold/heat expansion or some odd thing after the car sits?

I don't have the V12, but the symptoms sound like maybe moisture condensing, then evaporating when warm. Given the coil issue, maybe one of them has a crack? Do you live in a moist climate?
