Help! About to buy my first Benz! Ride height problem...
I hope I'm not starting a thread that's already there but went threw a couple pages and couldn't find anything so here goes.
I am looking to purchase a SL600 and believe I found my winner. Right miles, features and price. The problem is it seems to sit a inch higher then every SL I see... I assume this is the air ride and can be adjusted. Your insight and experience would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe you have air ride, but a hydraulic suspension adjustment called ABC.
3 things to adjust the ride hieght: hit the button inside on the console if not at the lowest height ($0); buy adjustable links and set it to the height you like (~$100); buy a Star Diagnostics System (SDS ~$700) and adjust the ride height.
All relatively cheap fixes for this car.
The SDS will be invaluable for the life of this car, and will pay for itself in a year, as well as being able to be re-sold when done with the MB.
