Command Screen Says "Microphone Off" What Can I Do?

Was able to sync my IPhone 5s to my new to me 2008 SL550 and can dial out on the Command pad and receive calls through the screen but can only listen and talk through my cell phone. On the upper left of the Command screen I see a "Mic Off" message but pressing the button next to the message only changes the letter colors. Volume dial below screen and + sign on steering wheel have no effect. What am I missing? Thanks...

Thanks for the reference. I went out and made sure the "Mic. Off " wording on the screen was colored white and found a setting in my phone that I turned on that had the initials "MB" and the next phone call I received the phone rang over the car speakers and when I answered I heard the person on the other end say hello then the sound went off again. There is something between my phone and the MB system that does not agree. More study ahead........

Try deleting the Mb from your iPhone then turn off Bluetooth shut the phone off. Then delete the iPhone from your sl and turn off you car. Turn the iPhone back on and restart the Bluetooth. Repair the iPhone to the sl and retest.
