Valve Block Kits SL500 (2005)
Hi,
I have a problem where the front left hand suspension sinks. You gentlemen on the forum where 100% right its the valve block.
My mechanic here in Australia has located the problem the o rings on the front valve block left solenoid controller are deteriorated.
Is anyone aware where I might be able to obtain a kit for the valve block front left solenoid. If you know a place in Australia that would be great. Here they only sell the whole unit for $4000.00.
Or a US place would be alright if they will send to a mechanic.

I don't think there is a kit available. But there is a forum member JNash who does rebuilds of these units.
A cheaper option would be this guy who also rebuilds them

But shipping from Australia to USA and then back to Australia might not be worth the cost. There are a few valve block rebuild threads that give the exact specs on the O-rings to order.
This webpage also has them, with part numbers of the O-rings. Scroll down to the valve block section.

I had the same suspension sagging issue and decided to buy a used valve block from a low mileage car and just replace it. This way the car has no downtime while valve block rebuild is happening and I can finish the job in one go. I was also able to sell the old valve block to recover some of the cost of the used one I bought from eBay.
