keyless go

I had a failure of my keyless go yesterday. The car seems to have recognized it (the dash lights came on) but the doors would not unlock. From now on I'll stick to my regular key! Does anyone know if MB can remotely unlock my car using the On-Star type system?

I'm pretty sure they have something like that. I remember my uncles W463 was locked, but the doors weren't shut all the way so when I pushed the doors in while walking into his house the alarm went off because the door unlocked and Mercedes Tele-Aid or whoever called his house telling him his car had been unlocked and he said to lock it again and from what I remember, they did.

Yes, your car can be unlocked through Tele-Aid or through the internet as well.

When you bought the car you had to provide a password. The proper 800 number is in one of the smaller booklets. But it also tells you that you can go onto MBUSA.com and access a portion of the site that will allow you to unlock the car when you provide your password etc.
