Wind Schott rescreening
I just wanted to let you know that using a 0.140" screen spline from Home Depot and some Wind Schott fabric bought on EBAY for $17 from Germany worked really well to refurbish my ripped Wind Schott. It took me about 2 hours. Getting the old spline out was more work then to replace the screen. Do not waste your trying clean and to re-use the old stiff spline.
Any questions let me know.

I think I found the site for the screening. Is this what you used ?

We had our 16 lb Russian Blue cat snag and put a giant run in the windscreen.
I tried to take the frame apart which I scratched up more than I wanted trying to separate the two piece frame. Do you have any tips in dismantling the frame?

Yes thats it!. You do not have to dismantle the frame !!!
Just get the old spline out. You might scratch the frame in this process but a little bit of sanding and a quick respray will make it look like new.
Start re-screening in the middle of the middle frame piece and work your way outward keeping the screen under tension. After this is nice and tight start on one of the outside frames. Again work from the middle towards the outside, finishing the round corners at last.
