SL/R230: Vario Roof hinge-point lube

Vario Roof hinge-point lube
I plan on lubing the beaucoup hinge points on my Vario Roof this week. What's the lube of choice here? I plan on squirting a bit of Permatex white lithium grease on each point. Any other products I might consider, such as Krytox?
I replaced the trunk lid struts recently, and, during that process, dropped a drop of ATF on each lid hinge point ... seems to have made the lid perhaps a tad easier to raise and lower. I applied Gummi Pfledge to all the rubber contact points on the roof seals, door seals, and trunk seals.
What say ye?
