If you have Amazon Prime they have the 5 litre Pentosin CHF 11S for $65.64 and free shipping which works out to $13.12/litre which is a great deal. My question is if I buy a couple of jugs to hold onto what's the shelf life? I just replaced my filter and did the flush on mine three days ago and paid $23.00/litre.

I don't think this stuff attracts moisture like brake fluid does, so I suspect it will be good for years if well capped. I did the same thing and have 2 jugs from Amazon in my garage. ready for the next flush or repair. I did replace my pump about a year ago so other than accumulators I'm crossing my fingers.

I don't have full info on that, but when i used to work with car oils they should have a "best before" printed somewhere on the can. If you're worried about a year or two - it will be fine. Doesn't worth buying it 2-3 years in advance planning to use it then. I bought mine of Amazon any way, considering the dealer asked $30/quart

I bought them 1 month ago. They come in two different styles, an tag that looks like on the amz.com and another with a deeper green color.
I bought three, and two came in deeper green color, and one was on the AMZ.com lighter green color tag. Checked all bottles everywhere outside, and there was a very slight hint of printed words in black in the front of the jugs that I cannot make out anything about the date of them.
I used the lighter color one and returned the two darker color. Just took a random guess as to which is newer.
