Lack of bass in audio system
As the thread title states, I have an almost total lack of bass in the sound system, even when I adjust the sound to maximize bass lower the treble. Mind you, I am not trying to turn heads or rattle the glass, but it literally sounds hollow with no bass at all.
The HK system in my CLK had great sound, with plenty of bass from the subwoofer between the back seats, and even the forward door speakers offered good lows. I pulled down the carpet on the passenger floorboard and I maybe feel a slight something coming from the subwoofer there, but that's it. Does this seem normal?

I put some MP3s on the Music Register and they sound good. It's just the other sources - Sirius, iPod and FM that sounds bad. And I have checked that the sound settings are the same on all. Strange!
