Hi Folks,

The dash vents on my 2004 SL500 seem to be permanently wide open. The three adjustment wheels in the center of the dash seem to make no difference at all.

Any idea what the cause might be and what a repair is likely to involve?

Yes, the center outlet control system is faulty and needs replacement--the repair involves removing the vent system!!
