"Tar Packet" in Trunk
In repairing leaky cylinders for the convertible top, I removed the trunk liner on the driver side of the car. On the small shelf in the corner I saw some dark, greasy smears that I thought I would clean. Upon closer inspection, there appeared to be soft aluminum "packets" that contain a tar-like substance. Obviously leaking. Does anyone have any idea on what these could be?
