SL/R230: PSE pump puzzle -Please help

PSE pump puzzle -Please help
2006 SL500 with mystery problem..
When car runs, door and trunk locks work perfectly. For 3-4 minutes after car is turned off, locks still work.. thereafter they don't work with PSE pump inactive, requiring key to unlock. As soon as car is started, locks work fine again. I suspect an electrical issue as the immobilizer also shuts down at the time the PSE pump stops working. Any help greatly appreciated!
