SL/R230: sticky in park

Just today I noticed my car is sticky coming out of park sometimes but it will come out. And a bit of a noise from under the car, sounds like something revolving, goes away after a short bit. Brake lights work. I never heard the revolving sound till this park deal started. I think they go together. Does not make the noise if the shifter comes out of park smoothly. any thoughts?

Can you confirm the shifter 'park lock' lever has been replaced with aluminum?
If not, I'd do it immediately, or you may be destroying the shifter. Then you can check that box for never being a problem for you ever again. It's DIY, but helps to have a lift and small hands.
The noise thing leaves some room that it is not the park lock lever, so this may be unrelated to the lever. But based on prior issues from others, I would bet heavy that it is the issue.
