SL 2003, what rims?

Hi ppl, I am a newbie here.

I am just wondering any of you have any opinions as of what size of rims is the best (most sporty looking) for the new SL class/?

19" lorinsers look very nice on the sl...you might want to go for 20" "dubs" just for that status quo but, frankly, 19" are plenty.

I have 19" Lorinser D93s on my R129, will they fit the R230?

In a publication here in UK some months ago, AMG was asked why they didnt put 19" on the SL55 only 18", they said it drives better, the 19" ones tended to tramline.

I dont like the standard SL55 (turbine like) wheels, and have just opted for the 18" AMG thin spoke wheels (mainly to show off the AMG brake disks and calipers)(I think these may be called rotors in the USA)

I think I will order the turbine wheels but will quickly change them for some custom 5 spokes for the same reasons Richard noted above. I will keep the turbine wheels as extras and shows.
