Trouble with the gear selector on the shifter to line up with the dash indicator. I rebuilt the shifter and can't seem to get this part right. When I put the car in each gear it's like the indicator on the dash is one off. For instance, if I put the car in neutral the dash read R, or when I put it in drive the dash first read N for 3-4 seconds before going into D. Has anyone experienced this and if so what would be the fix? I've adjusted the electrical connections on the shifter a few times in an attempt to solve but no luck... Any assistance is appreciated...
