2003 SL 600, goes into limp mode, throttle body sensor error?
Hello,
I have had the car for a long time at the independent mechanic, and all was good for me to pick it up after various service things, mechanic tried the car for a day to confirm it was all good. Which it was. Then upon me picking it up he called and said that while moving around in the shop, it went to limp mode due to throttle body related codes. He re-calibrated the throttle body, and hoped for the best, but it returned 100 meters down the road.
He will look into it next week.
Do I need a new throttle body? I have searched and tracked it down to this part, is that correct?

Any other things that could cause this?

Out Of Control!!
The 275 141 06 25 is a good part number, however I hope you used your VIN and EPC to define as there are various used.
Additionally can you ask your indy for a copy of the DAS screen shot indicating a so called throttle body sensor fault---and post the file.
