Color Matched Fog Lights 2007 SL550 (Pic)
Just a quick update to let you guys know that I found an excellent LED replacement Fog light that color matches very well to the headlights.
I tried the Lumen brand lights a couple of years ago but got CANBUS errors and the lights strobed on and off. I sent them back.
They've done a great job of upgrading these and they are plug and play now. Took less than an hour to install. I recommend taking the front wheels off and the front part of the interior wheel well plastic skirting. It's just a few 10mm screws and a couple of plastic plugs. It gives you great access to the fog lights from behind.
I know there are many of us that do not like the mismatch on this model between the headlights and fogs. This fixes that!
P.S. I also have smoked side marker lenses and white LED's there. I like the look even thought technically it is illegal...
